skype for Windows Mobile

after downloading skype
for Windows Mobile 6.
When I run it from the
root of Storge Card it
says Not a pocket PC app

Could be proper.

I've found many use download accelerators that corrupt downloads. Nothing in your post tells me you got a good download or checked other requirements such as .NET or other.

Download it again checking for the ARCHITECTURE of your WM6 machine (you didn't tell) and see if they use .NET CF.

Skype or Fring won't run on my HTC Touch Diamond 2

I downloaded Skype and Fring
directly to my HTC Touch Diamond 2
model # T5353 (I forgot to include
the model# etc. on my first post)
When I run Skype or Fring from the
root of Storage Card it
says it is Not a valid pocket PC application.

I found the prior version as Skype has removed downloads. You plug in your HTC to the PC, Active Sync is up or WMDC depending on what Windows and run the Skype installer on the PC.
