Shockwave 8 player

by Donita / August 12, 2004 10:29 AM PDT

Does anyone know where I can get Shockwave 8 Player? I have an application that will not work with the current Shockwave 10 Player. When I try to open the app. a window opens telling me I need Shockwave 8 Player click here to d/l. The only thing available is 10. When I install that I still get the same message. I've tried a google search but no help.

Tried the d/l but it was a for a netscape brouser. When I did my search it seems they are brouser specific. I have IE and it couldn't find a file associated with Netscape.

BTW, you do need to take care in your posts to tell such details.

I looked for you once and find this with Google in two searches. I'll leave that for you to do your own Google for the Internet version.

Here's the archive of Netscape. My bet is you'll need a version from the year 1999 or 2000 since that's when Shock 8 was around.
