...the music and the voice of the man speaking as if this was an episode of Twilight Zone? My bet would be that, if the story didn't have an underlying sexual theme, the media wouldn't bother with it and Ms. Sawyer would be looking for another story to cover.
i saw a little bit of the interview on TV last night. Even now, it appears that Amanda is simply not allowing what happened to sink-in. Or rather at the time it appears that whatever actions she took were counter to what many may have expected to see. At the same time the media may have gotten too involved and "yellowed" it up for the news channel. Listening to her story does give doubt to her creditably. However, no one can say how they would react upon news that they were that close to such a crime yet not be the one that did it. It looks like the world was out to get her and she supplied the ammo to do it though. It seems a police checklist of sorts was being done and not too many were on the plus side, if you start to make records of it all. After all, this how a case is made and the gears of the legal system grinds away. What were you thoughts? Willy
