Serious defect potentially affecting millions

I have stumbled across a problem with a website that cnet/download supports. The download is not the problem, but the web interface has two severe holes.

This is such an easy hack that exposes so much info, I'd prefer not to publish it live.

how can I get this info to cnet/download in a less public way?
