I didn't read about troubles for the owners of Instagram (bought for 1 billion by Facebook) or Skype (bought for much more by Microsoft). But it could be they spend a small part of the amount to have a lawyer and a financial expert look into the details and do the negociations.

I will have to organise all of that as I am looking to sell this business - too many cooks are spoiling the broth and it is becoming more trouble than it is worth. We do make a good turn over, but all the employees want to be the boss - now to find the right place to advertise.. Thanks for your comments
