My faves are no longer in business. Does anyone have a free fave html editor to recommend?

Depends on the complexity of the html-coding. I'm using a simple text editor (the free version of Editpad). But when I need to delete a column from a table I use Kompozer (free also) for that. And that's all.

I have simple web pages. Usually one-pagers. NVU is out of business and Pagebreeze is not working with Win7.

Try using HTML Editor from Easy WebContent. you can sign up free and take it for a test drive; the advantage is it works and connect with any HTML site/pages hosted anywhere. quick easy access to content of your page and layout.
