Every time I start my web browser (mozilla firefox) my homepage gets hijacked to

I reset my homepage to, which is what I want it to be, and save it.

Alas I start firefox again, and again is my homepage.

How do I get rid of it. My virus software doesn't identify it. It's not in my add/remove software list. Help!!

never mind, I found the solution

it was the searchqu add-on extension. I disabled it.

(NT) I removed it from extensions on firefox but it didn't help

Must have spent a few hours today. Realised I'd been successful with my previous attempt with OE but Firefox was driving me mad! So all done and a great video from that guy, it certainly helped me. BC

Hi. Yup its a difficult one, there some other forums out there that this been discussed on, but after reading them and following the instructions I have still have the bar up! It's a .... of an attachment or should we say leach! Keep on trying, I'm about the so a reinstall and upgrade, lets hope that works! BC
