Samsung WIS 09 ABGN Adapter

Hi I Have just purchased the Samsung WIS09ABGN LAN Adapter for my LE40B651T TV.
Plugged in and connected to my wireless router with ease.
The problem I am having is connecting my wirelaess laptop to it.
I have run the PC share software from the disc that came with the TV and My PC can see the TV in the available list.
I want to be able to use the TV as a remote display for the lapop without having to plug an HDMI lead in.
The reason for going wireless was to enable me to just network to the TV and use it as an extension to my desktop.
This way I can access all my microsoft programs and internet on the TV so that I can see them.
I am disabled with very poor eye site hence why I am hoping to conect wirelessly to the TV without the danger of cables. Can this be done? I am running Vista on my laptop if that helps.

Sadly this is NOT a feature of this system. I have to write that this is not how this is going to get done. Let's look at how this is done today.

Be aware that wifi is not the solution.

Be aware that demanding a wireless video link will be costly.

That's not what the LinkStick is designed to do. It's designed to stream video and music from the PC to the TV using special software.

To use your panel as an extension of your desktop, there are two options: D-SUB or HDMI. Both will require wires.

There are also some "sling" type devices, but we don't make them, and can't offer support for them.

If that promise was made to you, unfortunately, it may be that your salesperson was uninformed or was incorrect. We don't advertise the feature you're describing.
