Question

Samsung UE22ES5410 slow to respond

by Joeworcs / October 26, 2012 5:56 PM PDT

Just bought this TV, picture is great, but the apps, iPlayer, dnla etc all take around 4-5 seconds, sometimes more, to respond. Is this normal? Does anyone else with a 5 series find this?
It's 1 day old so can easily be swapped over.

No such app here.

So I can't comment except that this app appears to be not from Samsung. Be sure to feed back to the app authors.

However I find Netflix and such to be affected by the speed of the internet or Netflix server response times. As those are out of our control (Samsung as well) then if Love Films or an app takes a long time to get an answer from some server that is not at Samsung or in your country then we are back to discussions such as "Was this Smart TV such a good idea?"

It's all apps that's are slow to initialise. I have 40MB/s fibre so it's definitely not Internet speeds.

I didn't read that in your first post.

It appears as if this product does not perform well enough for you. Time to send it back.

Hi Joeworcs,

Thanks for your message. But just so you know, if you want Samsung support, I support US products and customers. And from what I can tell, this model is for Netherlands. (Correct me if I'm wrong.) So while I can't help you directly, if you want Samsung help, here's the Samsung Netherlands portal for support on that product: http://www.samsung.com/nl/support/model/UE22ES5410WXXN

Hope this helps you!

Regards,
HD Tech
