You'll have to get a tech to look at it.

My bet is the panel or the panel driver. I'm not a Samsung tech but an electronics engineer. Either item is not user serviceable so let's hope it's in warranty or close enough. In the USA I see you can register the set for 3 more months of warranty and some credit cards double the warranty and then some retailers like Costco extend the warranty.

Sorry that I can't tell you which it is. It is even possible that it's some connection but from what I've seen over the years the odds are not in favor of that.

Hi rechinell,

Thanks for your message. But just so you know: if you want Samsung support, I support US products and customers. And from what I can tell, this model is for Australia. (Correct me if I'm wrong.) So while I can't help you directly, if you want Samsung help, here's the Samsung Australia portal for support on that product: http://www.samsung.com/au/support/model/PS59D550C1MXXY

Hope this helps you!

Regards,
HD Tech
