Question

Samsung or Asus?

by SirAimstar / June 9, 2013 6:22 PM PDT
I'm looking for a new laptop..

And i found these two..

ASUS ZENBOOK U500VZ 15.6" Full HD IPS

Samsung 770Z5E 15.6" Full HD

The Samsung is like 350 dollars cheaper than the Asus ( here in Denmark) because of the extra SSD in the Asus.
(i can live with one tbh.)

I'm looking for a thin light laptop with 14-16" screen.. SSD and a decent Graphic card, for the newer games.. i know it's a lot to ask..

But my question is, who makes the best laptops? Asus or Samsung?

Or should i go for another? let me here your suggestions. Happy

And a few models of each. Both seem well made so I can't declare either to be a better builder.

They had an non-competitive agreement with Dell that ended a couple of years ago. Asus has been making components for years. They recently started selling their own pre-configured brand in the mass market. Before that they mostly sold barebone systems that buyers could configure before they buy.

It looks like the Samsung is better for higher resolution games. While the Asus is better at 1600 x 900 then the max resolution of 1920 x 1080. The AMD in the Samsung is Class 1 High end performs well at highest resoluion while the Asus is an upper mid range card.

Winner: Samsung
