Your description would seem to be indicative of some kind of post processing of the audio. Could you let me know a couple things? (1) What's the laptop's complete model code? (2) Which programs have you tried with audio?
Also, you description of the human voices was very humorous. I'd almost think that someone could install this software as a prank, so if you're in an office environment or dorm, you might consider that possibility.
Suddenly a few days ago the audio from my speakers has somehow gotten distorted...not only do i hear everything as if it's in an echo chamber...it also all comes out high-pitched. Human voices sound like Munchkins in a well. Does anyone know how to change this back to normal? I can't seem to find anywhere that I can make audio adjustments.
