Question

SAMSUNG GALAXY ATIV TAB SD CARD

by jpaopperman / January 8, 2013 3:25 PM PST

I have a SAMSUNG GALAXY ATIV TAB, but it does not want to accept a 32gb SD memory card. If I put in another smaller SD card, it works. With the 32 gb card it hangs. Please assist, the description on the SD card reads; Transcend, 32GB(4) Micro SD HC. Thanks Anton

Hi jpaopperman,

I'm very sorry for the problems you've been having. Please let me know whether you have an ATIV (Windows 8 device) or a Galaxy Tab (Android device). Also, please provide the complete model code for this device.

SAMSUNG GALAXY ATIV TAB SD CARD

Thanks, it is powered by Windows RT and the model is GT-8510. When I insert the SD card, it doesn't ask me if it can be formatted to the spesific format, it just hang continously until I try to restart it. I am going and try to do the format on my laptop in the required format to see if it will accept it then before I insert it again into the ATIV.
Can you also perhaps assist in guiding me on how to sync the tab with my Samsung Galaxy S2 phone as nothing happen when I connect them.
Kind Regards

Hi jpaopperman,

I'm not finding that model in my system. Could you let me know which country you're in?
