Samsung 3D tv and youtube

by disrember / April 8, 2011 3:51 AM PDT

Hi,

I have just upgraded to Samsung 3D. I have a UE46C8000 and bd-c5900 and I am trying to watch youtube in 3D.

Here's the problems,

UE46C8000, when I view youtube via Internet@TV I can't turn on the 3D, this is despite the fact that there a numerous side by side 3D videos and they load and play fine. Given the fact that the number of 3D videos are increasing, please can you confirm if Samsung are looking to resolve this.

bd-c5900, has a different problem. if you try to view a 3D youtube video then it hangs half way while loading. This has happened on at least 5 videos (ordinary videos play fine). I can switch on 3D. If you search for "Jaws 3D" you can see it happening.

any ideas?

Samsung 3D tv and youtube

disrember,

I'll be happy to inquire. However, YouTube ultimately controls there app. This means that features and benefits offered through that program comes strictly from that app owner, and in this case, YouTube.

Let me see if I can find anything out on this feature.

Same Problem
by andrewjohngamble / January 2, 2012 9:44 PM PST

I have exact same problem on my 40D6100 TV and cannot seem to find any solution.

The youtube app is playing in 3d (as I can see the images side by side) but the Tv will not recoginse the 3d or allow me to tv the 3d Mode on.

Any help you be greatly appreciated
