by gerette / May 22, 2011 3:01 AM PDT

I am a little confused. I currently have a cable box, TV and DVD/VCR hook up. I have netflix. I am not following how roku would work with my cable box and the hook up. Any help would be appreciated.

But given only what's in your post I can't tell where I would add it. Let me share how mine is connected.

I use a HDMI cable from the ROKU to my Sony HDTV.

I run an HDMI cable from my Roku to my AV Receiver. The receiver allows me to select which source to send on to my screen (via another HDMI) and to speakers
