RMA question

Hey steelseries told me to do an RMA because the mic doesnt work anymore on my headset. I never did RMA before and wondering how do i do it? I dont have the box that came with it, all i have is the headset, the shipping information, and money for post office. Is this all i need when i go to the post office to ship it? Will the post office give me a box and stuff to put it in?

You must call the company where you bought it and get

a return merchandise authorization (RMA). Once you have that, include the paperwork and mail it back to the company.

i said they gave me the RMA. im asking HOW do i mail it back to them? i dont have the box it came with anymore. im asking if i just bring the headset to the post office will they give me a box and stuff to mail it

Why are you asking us? It sounds like an excellent question to ask the customer service people of the company doing the RMA.

im asking people who have done RMA before how they ship it, like what to bring to the post office to ship it etc.

It's different with every company how they want people to handle it, so talk to the customer service representatives at the company you need to do the RMA with to find out the details.

the retailer or manufacturer. If you don't package it properly (to protect it) or ship/mail by traceable could end up 'out of luck'.

It really depends on how the retailer/manufacturer handles it.
