Question

Rise of nations on iMac

by Rhorr77 / April 19, 2013 10:56 AM PDT

I recently upgraded my iMac (2009) to OS X, 10.8.3. I have a copy of the game Rise of Nations that I bought a couple years ago, but now it says the game isn't supported. Is there a place where I can download a copy that will work with my current operating system?

BTW, Microsoft owns it.

What I did
by Rhorr77 / April 24, 2013 9:33 AM PDT

I created a partition on my iMac...small...only 50g. Then I installed my old operating system on it...Snow leopard. Then installed the game...works now. I really like that game. I wish they we would make it again. Age of Empires was also really good, but I didn't like some aspects of the game...like the fact that crops would need to be renewed...Too my micro managing with AoE. But the battles were fun.

Is there another similar game available today for the iMac?

Thanks
