Question

right mouse click tries to install

by jgw0 / June 29, 2013 7:58 AM PDT

I seem to have cleverly setup my mouse to try and install nero 11 everytime I right click. I have no idea why. I do not have nero 11 and I don't want to install it and the installer can't find it either.

I am running xp pro and a vanilla microsoft compatible ps2 mouse.

How do I get the mouse to stop this?

Thank you...............

Answer
The controls are in Ctrl Panel -> Mouse

Click Start -> Control Panel -> Mouse. That's where you'll find the controls for your mouse. You can change what each mouse button does there.

Good luck.

mouse (ps/2 microsoft mouse) continues to act up

Thanks for the reply.........

I neglected to mention that I had already gone to the control panel. When I click on mouse there is no options for what the keys do. There are such options in proprietary panels, such as logitech but, for the pure microsoft driver there are no such options.
