Is this related to the junk program regworks? It come up with all of these registry errors on a new hp Pavillion g7 laptop which is working perfectly. Of course, it requires a payment to activate and "fix all" 700 plus registry errors? Any help?

Anything that "cleans" the registry is snake oil

Avoid anything that claims to clean the registry. They are all snake oil. They are not needed, do no noticeable improvement, and can cause harm that is both difficult to diagnose and difficult to repair. Back before Windows 2000 and XP, they could help, but MS rewrote the way they handled the registry to make these so-called cleaners obsolete.

Good luck.

I figured it was an ongoing scam over registry errors(?); from 0 to over 700 overnight? Thanks!
