Recovering data from old hard drive

by amz160 / February 19, 2012 6:28 AM PST

My laptop recently died and I would like to recover some data from the hard drive. I've already removed the drive but I'm not sure exactly which connector equipment I need and how to use it.

there is no mention that the drive itself has died, then all the OP needs is Windows Explorer. It is built in.
