Recording Podcasts that No One Can Listen To.

by scampcat / June 15, 2010 4:12 AM PDT

A lot has been written about the fact that CNET's podcasts are not being made available for download. So solid answers as to when this situation will be resolved...but you will continue to record Buzz Out Load today (6/15/10)?????? Not everyone can watch or listen live. Can we get some useful info as to when this is going to be resolved???? I mean....c'mon....what if Apple was to sell pre-ordered Iphone 4s and the AT&T Website would not let people do that....oh...wait!!!!!

What part wasn't downloading?

not downloading

there is a difference between the RSS feed not downloading/finding/listing the audio version and not being able to download them from the website.

I think, by now, everyone's seen that there is a 'known' issue and we have faith they're working to get it fixed. Until then, it's back to downloading directly from the website.

Podcast are now showing up on Itunes for downloading

In reply to: not downloading

As of 6/16/10 it appears that the podcasts are now showing up on Itunes for downloading. If this was first determined to be a problem last Friday, not sure why it took 3 days to resolve the situation. It just seems CNET goes through this process every couple of months...but I'm happy I can now download and listen to BOL again.

I wonder if Maxwell Smart insisted on its use at Buzz.

I was able to get the downloads normally through the iTunes feed. Thanks to Jason and everyone at CNET who worked hard to bring us melodious buzzzz.
