Re-install XP CD? Not Responding?

computer help: HOW to reinstall XP CD?
Does anyone know how to stop 'NOT RESPONDING"? I have cleaned out what needs to be done, cookies etc. Running XP Wind 8, sp 3.

Constant freezing up, crashes, games and emails, websites, for months now. reallypleh deen h ere. thanking you Helene of OKC

How to reinstall XP depends on what disks you have, the edition of XP and SP level of the disk, the type (IDE or SATA) of the hard disk and the size of the disk (how much GB).

So anything I write may be wrong. That's why I write no more.

if you booted from the XP Installation CD. This you have to do to do a clean install.
