by WHOZADONUT / March 31, 2013 1:00 AM PDT
Hello, Bought my Grandson a gaming headset so he can communicate with other gamer's but he can't get any sound from it, he's been told just to plug the USB cable in2 the front of the PS3 and all will be OK but still it doesn't work. Now have been told to buy a HDMI cable to Scart.<div>Please can anyone help him.
Many Thanx,

That I suggest that you return it fast. It didn't work so it failed. Next time get the Sony model?

As Bob Said
by Jimmy Greystone / March 31, 2013 1:56 AM PDT

As Bob said, or at least alluded to, are you sure that this headset is advertised to work with the PS3? With game consoles it's not always as simple as just plugging in some random bit of hardware. If it doesn't say it supports the PS3 right on the box, I'd take it back and look for one that does. If it does say it supports the PS3 right on the box then maybe you got a defective unit or there's additional steps required that your grandson didn't take.
