Problems with Phillips GoGear

by horsie_gurl / March 31, 2009 1:30 PM PDT

Okay my initial problem was that I havent used this player in years. I have like 90 songs on the player. When I hooked it up to the computer and look in Windows Media Player it didn't list any songs on the mp3 player. I tried syncing some of my new music but when i disconnected, after it said the songs were synced, none of them were on the player. Then I hooked it back up and all that were listed on the device were the songs I just downloaded.

So now i made the mistake of formatting the thing and everytime i turn it on it says "player error" then changes to the menu. It lists no music and even now if i try to sync it still lists a blank menu on the player and still has that error. I'm afraid ive ruined it with the format.

Problems with Phillips GoGear

Hi. I have landed up doing exactly the same thing that you had done - formatted my GoGear player. Now, although songs are there in my player (visible when I plug into the comp), when I pull it out and try to play it, it shows an "empty" status..... Have you found a solutions to your problem? If yes, please do share with me as I think it should work in my case as well...? Thx!

You didn't reveal much. Such as where the songs are. I won't reveal what folder they are in here but you didn't tell much.

If all else fails I can zip up the contents of my Go and place it on dropbox for you.

I can't hold hands in the use of zip files but will pitch in.
