1. Use system restore to the day before you lent it out.
2. Use Grif's advice at 7726-6132_102-5098912.html?tag=posts;msg5099421
I have a Dell mini 10 that I bought used. The owner has upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium. It worked fine until I lent it to a family member who knows even less than me about computers and now it loads very slowly to boot up and when if I try to open more than one webpage at once, it can barely open it but most times, it flashes a low memory warning. I have done disk cleanup to clean up the memory but it still does it. Also, when I choose to shut down, it takes a very long time and then the power light just flashes and I have to hold the power light down to shut it down completely as it will not shut down completely by itself. I only use this in the kitchen to surf the net so I never open any other programs other than the internet. Any ideas or suggestions to try?
