Question

Problems mounting a TCP50S60 plasma TV to the wall

by toolmanx / April 6, 2013 12:13 PM PDT

The screws that came with the mounting kit are not the correct size and length for the back of the new TV. Screws did not come with the unit. The users manual does not identify the size. Where can I find the screw size for this item. Thanks in advance.

by Republicratical / May 17, 2013 5:30 AM PDT

I went to home depo and went through several until finding M8-1.25 x 25MM or 8mm and 25mm. They worked perfectly and I was able to hang it. Hope this helps.

screw type

I had the same problem with mine this week, rang panny and basically they didnt have a clue!
So I had to work it out my self.
The screw I needed was a 6mm 25mm long machine thread from b+q.
This was for my 2013 model so may not be the same but its a good starting point

The Hex Bolt M8-1.25 x 25MM fits perfect

The Hex Bolt M8-1.25 x 25 MM fit perfect. Used it to hang it. 8mm by 25mm is another way of saying it.
