Primo pdf problems

by debbieengleson / December 9, 2007 5:19 AM PST

I just got a new laptop - HP Pavilion with AMD 64 Athlon X2, lots of memory, etc. BUT it has VISTA. I tried downloading primo as my old copy of adobe acrobat is incompatible with vista, but I keep getting the error message about incorrect parameters. Before I go and download several more programs that were suggested to someone with the same problem (and add lots of stuff that doesn't necessarily all go away when I uninstall), I would like to know if the problem is due to Vista, and if so, which one of the free pdf makers is best. I use a pdf maker a lot so that I don't waste paper printing stuff that I just need to keep for reference. Your help is greatly appreciated.
