Please Help

by mina_001 / June 1, 2013 12:14 PM PDT

I was handed down a g56-129wm notebook and I screwed up badly. I had changed my windows 7 password again but this time I had forgot the password. I had sent my laptop to a friends dad that told me he can reset the password using a rest password software. When the computer was restarted instead of going to the windows log in my laptop turned on with admin password or power on password screen. Well since this laptop was given to me I have no idea what the admin password or the power on password. Please help.. When I hit the password in correctly it says system disable [91759013] I restart the laptop and once again it is asking me for the admin password or power on password. Please help

Head to hp.com and click on the chat button and see if they have a solution.

Staples stores used to do this reset for 75 bucks.
Best buy varied a bit but it has a 120 buck minimum here.

Sorry, no, I don't have any finding on this laptop how to reset this but if your friends dad set this, why not ask them for it? Maybe it can get you in?

Sounds like you might have to reinstall windows or if windows came pre installed in your computer, you might have to reset it back to factory default. It will erase every thing you had like files and programs you installed, but it il give access to your computer again.
