Question

Play Blu-Ray with SC-BTT182 without using speakers

by Jonty1808 / March 10, 2013 8:48 PM PDT

Hi,

I have the above home theatre system but find the audio unbearable when watching a blu-ray. You have to turn the volume right up to be able to hear dialogue but then during any action or loud scenes the volume is just ridiculous. I live in a flat and neighbours don't need to hear this. Besides that, the speakers may be 260 watts or whatever and have 20 virtual speakers, but the sound quality is crap when compared to some other 2.1 speakers such as Aegos.

Anyway, my question is, how do I play the audio through the TV? I've tried unplugging the speakers from the blu-ray but then there is no audio at all. Can't find any settings that work to play audio through TV.
