plastic piece between plasma screen and glass front.

by arkyduck / September 16, 2013 10:58 AM PDT

I have a t 5054 plasma tv and after a move to a new location I noticed a piece of black plastic, about a half inch square, lodged between the plasma screen and the inner glass front. How can I remove it? Thanks

Hi Bob, Yes it is a 2007. Mo. No. T5054 X/XAA I have the service manual but it doesn't say how to gain access to the inner glass surface. I wonder if the glass screen is bonded to the plasma screen. If so, I am basically Screwed!

Then it was considered a solid FRU. So you have to make a choice to go in anyway or not.
