Picture it! 2002

by hpgrl38 / April 15, 2009 12:41 PM PDT

I had Picture it! on my old PC, and I just went and built a new desktop computer and put vista on it. I got the program to install fine on my vista laptop, but when I try to install it on my new desktop I get this:

"Cannot display the End User License Agreement which must be displayed and accepted before you can use the application. To display the agreement, reinstall the application."

It installed fine, but when I try to open it I get that, so it won't let me open it until i put in the product key, but the application wont open. And it also won't reinstall now, it just keeps giving me that error.
Is there some sort of patch I can get to get this, or does someone know a fix for it?

Thanks for trying, but that didn't help any. I'm still getting the same message while trying to open the program.

I'm afraid this didn't help either.

This is what it told me i needed to do..

If you click on start, click on would drive out. Give in the field to opening the instruction regedit, and you click afterwards on OK ONES.
If you look for the following key in the registration editor, click with the right mouse button on it, and you click on deletion:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ software \ Microsoft \ Works Suite

I'm afriad that doesn't much help me though. I'll keep searching for for a fix to it.

As far as I can tell, this title will not run on Vista.

You can however run it in Virtual PC (from Microsoft) on XP inside the VPC.

It should run in vista

I know that its capable of running in vista, because I have a vista laptop with picture it! 2002 on it, and it runs fine. My laptops slowing down though so I've been trying to get it on my new vista dektop.
Is this a new version of it out that I could buy possibly that could work for vista?

I've run into this on Vista 64. But the owner was unaware of the 5 or more different versions of Vista.
