Generally, application programs don't 'work with' antivirus programs. They are independent. So most likely, it will work.
But, of course, you don't want to install something in youjr production environment that you aren't sure of. So the thing to do is to install that PC Tools program on your test machine (backup machine, whatever you call it) and try.
It might be cheaper to use a paid anti-virus program, unless both the test machine and your hours spent on the test are free.
We have a 2003 Microsoft Server with Exchange and SQL. My employer is wanting to use a free anti-virus program for the server. Do you know if the following software programs will work with PC Tools? The programs are Drake Tax software, Dillner's Accounting Software (we use Full Contact, PBM and Client Write-Up), Quickbooks, Paper Port and CutePDF.
I looked on the internet and haven't been able to find anything that will tell me this. I don't want to download PC Tools until I know it works. I couldn't find anything else that was free with real time protection for the type of server we have.
