Do you need that much ram?

If so.......make sure you get an OS that will support it.

Hello,

I built my first PC last month for £600. It does everything you're looking for.

These are the parts I used to give you an idea:

COOLERMASTER HAF 912 Plus
Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 AMD 970 DDR3 ATX USB3.0 Motherboard - Socket AM3+
AMD Phenom II X4 965 BLACK 3.4GHz CPU
Corsair Vengeance 8GB 2x 4GB Dual Channel 1600MHz DDR3
SAPPHIRE AMD Radeon HD 7850 - 2GB
Seagate Barracuda 2TB SATA 6GBs 3.5'' HD
Asus DRW-24B3ST 24X SATA Dual layer DVD Writer DVDRW
Get a high GHz processor, it really helps, trust me, also make it have several cores for processing, it will do more things at once.

Good luck in your build, I recommend it, was great to do. Wish I could build more.

Thanks & Regards,
