Panasonic TX-P50VT20B cracked screen and other problems

by miano2258 / February 17, 2013 10:20 AM PST

Hi I have the Panasonic TX-P50VT20B which has a cracked screen and few other issues. I'm going to see the repair shop guys but I wanted some advice on what the problem could be so that I don't get ripped off.

The TV will turns on and the green light flashes then turns red and flashes. There is power there but it will not show anything at all. The screen on the outside looks fine but which is why I think its cracked on the inside. I'm not sure but I'm guessing the plasma within is broken.

Can anyone tell me what other problems could cause these symptoms. I am looking to get the TV fixed but really need to know how much it would cost and where could I get new plasma screen as I would like to attempt to fix it myself. that is if its possible.

Please if anyone can point me in the right direction I would much appreciate it.
