Panasonic 42PD5OU vs. Maxent MX 42X3?

Which is a better choice? Both are about same price.

Panasonic all the way last years model was the best ED plasm

Panasonic ED plasma has some of the best reviews out there
Maxent was listed dead last.

Where was this list you speak of? Do you have a link? I have seen great reviews of the Maxent in addition to seeing these sets side by side and both were excellent.

The Panasonic 42PD5OU EDTV is last years model NOT made any more. TH-42PX50U is this years model and is a HDTV. There is a big posting in this fourm about the Maxnet a few months ago.
Any store that has the old Panasonic is trying to clear them out so they can get the newer models.
I have seen a Maxnet and the Panasoinc EDTV plasma side by side and would buy the maxnet. Have not seen the newer Pany plamas as the stores are tying to move out last years models. John
