My advice is to return what does not work.
Installed 64 bit Win 8 Pro and I can open the internet and browse but anything to do with Microsoft I am told "you are not connected to the internet." But I am!
I keep being asked to complete my install but they can't verify my email address. But there it is when asked for my password and I am signed on.
These messages come up;
"We are having problems connecting to verify your info."
"We can't sign you in because the network isn't available. Make sure your computer is connected to the internet and try again."
When checking the connection problem this appears;
"Problems found. Your PC appears to be correctly configured but Microsoft.com is not responding."
Something is blocking only Microsoft but it isn't the installed Norton Internet Security and in Control Panel I can't map my internet connection even while the connection is working.
