numbers 09

I have never worked with spread sheets before. I have been able to create a spreadsheet but am unable to get an borders or lines inside. I have used the tools to show blue lines but it dosen't transfer to be printed .Do I have to apply it somehow? Thanks for any help.

I just spent a little while trying to figure out why the lines around each cell just disappeared after they had been applied.

I finally discovered that you have to apply a color, from the color picker, for the lines to remain visible.

By default, when you create the borders and before you pick a color, the borders are shown in Blue.

You still have to choose a color.
