Nook Color 1.2 Fiasco

B&N has screwed the pooch. Tons of people are having issues caused by the 1.2 update. It can result in failure to connect via WiFi to a broad range or access points/routers. They also had issues with their servers earlier that causes Nook Colors to de-register themselves (almost like having a cellphone without service). We are all accross the country now aware of the Nook Server Failure and the issue of having to re-set our registration etc. why has B&N not posted anything about this and a proposed timeline for resolution on the nook home page, that is horrible customer service, you can at least be in touch with us. I feel that the product and all the books I have purchased are being held hostage. I can not even read offline the books I purchased as I can't get past the registration setup where it connects to the internet. Please communicate with all Nook Color owners and please resolve this issue ASAP. Thank you!!

Mine's fine. But it's new at just 3 days old. I didn't see how to break it.

Then again, consumers would not want to write how to break it. A consumer would only write "it's broke, it's your fault, you're terrible" and so on.

Let's hope for more details here or out there.
