No Wi-Fi data on Tmobiile Jellyrean Androids

by TmobileSpoiler / June 26, 2013 8:38 AM PDT

I came across this last week while speaking to a Tech at T-Mobile. All T-Mobile Android phones with Jellybean are designed to work only with their network and not access or use Wi-Fi for data.

However there are some updates that will not download over WiFi so let's see if you can grind this finer.

I mean you have Wi-Fi on your phone for a reason...I have to watch my $$$ and using Wi-Fi for data can save an extra 20 plus a month. Besides why would have a phone with Wi-Fi and not be able to use it, just because they designed it that way to make sure you have use their network, talk about being deceitful, and then not tell you

Still FUD in my book.

There is only one update I know of that demands it come over Cellular. And WiFi is not turned on or off in any of the T-mobile 50-60-70 buck a month plans.

You've been snookered in some way.
