no internet

by malvadisco / June 22, 2013 6:11 AM PDT

Hi there, I'm running Vista in my old computer and after trying to remove a virus I ended up with no internet. I run Anvi Smart Defender, ComboFix, Adw Cleaner, JRT, dds, Malwarebytes, and RevoUninstaller. to get rid of this bug. Now my computer runs without a problem it seems, speed is back and I can access all programs but when I try to get internet. I can open Explorer but it reads: "Waiting for response from". After a while it reads: "IE cannot display the webpage".After pressing diagnose Connection Problems I get: "could not connect to the web server "". Nevertheless I can also open Mozilla Firefox and I am able to get the Google search homepage and type a search and all items related to that search would appear normally but when I click on any of those I get: "Connecting...", and it stays idling. I also got a warning from AnviSmartDefender
Process Guard. Threat: Trojan/AVM.600731. Location: C:\Users\VERONI-1\AppData\Local\temp\nshBAA9.tmp.\SED.DAT
Please help, thank you.

...I'd say you still have some kind of virus/malware on the computer. I'd back up any data you want to save then restore to factory settings per your user guide.
Good luck.

Reseting Echo Request, failed.
The requested operation requires elevation.
Reseting Interface, failed.

There's no user specified settings to be reset.

You'll need to use an elevated prompt.
