I'm Looking to buy a new power supply , the one I have now is only 300w ,can anyone recommend a good quality one? At least 500w.
Here's my info, if needed: http://oi45.tinypic.com/339hklf.jpg
If you've working OK with a 300W PSU, then just about any "generic" 500W will do. If you look at pricing will be a keen way of seeing the better PSU's out there and generally speaking those that offer "brand name" tend to be better suited for the long haul. If you don't plan to add more devices or generally over work the power needs, again a generic well above 300W is OK. Notice, I don't offer a name, since all too often buyers tend to buy the cheaper of the choices, so I lean away from that. Better online vendors offer a variety, look for wattage, single rail, dual fans and all the cabling connections you need(most do) and don't fall for glitzy stuff unless you like that, it doesn't do anything to make the PSU dependable. Also, be 100% sure of the phsical size of the PSU, if yours has a need get it. Look at the current decal of your PSU specs, find the model# and google away and locate the sizing dimensions(H-W-L), thus replace the same.
