New Safari won't open

by auntkalei / December 14, 2012 1:28 AM PST

I just got a new Safari won't open. It shows for a sec in the dock, then I get a message that it quit unexpectedly. When I go to applications to open...same thing. I downloaded Firefox, which I don't mind using, but then it appears I have lost all of my bookmarks that I had while on Safari. I don't mind using Firefox or some other browser....but can't afford to lose all of my bookmarks. Help would be appreciated.

you do backup I hope.

This new hard drive. Is it internal or external?

If external, what does Safari do if you have it disconnected?

You know, I changed to google chrome, and everything fixed...and they asked me if I wanted to import bookmarks and I said yes...and all is well.
Thanks for your help.
