New Clear Modem with Another Router

by Roboman1723 / October 17, 2012 9:39 AM PDT

Hey guys,

I just got ClearWire and frankly it's really good but... only when wired directly to the modem. The wireless is a joke, my roommates can't even get a stable connection 20 feet away. So I was trying to hook up my DIink DIR-655 up to the WIXFPR-131 modem and it won't let me. Is it even possible? If so, what are the settings I will have to change?

I tested the early variations of the Clearwire set up in this area a few years ago at the request of a local distributor, at the time I wasn't impressed, perhaps things have changed but in this area, the system was very limiting.

Clear Wireless is the worst company in the world

Want to talk to twenty slaves who don't know anything, and whom you cannot understand? Well, you can't do better than Clear Wireless. Clear stole four hundred dollars from us. Took the money, never provided one gram of service or product. company that is only good for treating American customers like dirt, and exclusively employing terrified slaves on the other side of the world. I repeat: Clear stole four hundred dollars from us.
