Forget migration. Use the company disaster plan to install and restore from the backups and if the disaster plan was correct, it will work at the end of the procedure.
You did put in your post there is some boss so this is a business so there is a plan to use.

ok so my boss needs to get the functions of one server on a mac mini in a remote location, to another remote mac mini in a seperate location. i currently have a mac mini that i am working on. all the macs have remote desktop. would it be posssible to use migration host to migrate all the servers responsibilities to mine, then again from my mac to the final destination?
