Question

Need some advice to chose a flight device

by suradiproy / June 9, 2013 3:16 PM PDT

I've always been a Third person action game(Shooter and slayer) or Sports game(Including Racing arcades) addict. Recently thinking of giving flight games a try. I need a reliable joystick in my budget(Below 4K better below 3K).
I've sorted out some after going through flipkart.com and some random reviews on net. Thought I'd get some experienced advice on this.
Below 3K: Thrustmaster T Flight Stick X or Logitech Extreme 3d Pro
Below 4K: Thrustmaster T Flight Stick X or Thrustmaster T Flight Hotas X
Which one in both segments should I go for?
Any other suggestions with reason are welcome.
Well by the way(Just for formalities ;-)) I own:
Intel i5 3rd Gen
4GB RAM
ATI 7730M 2GB
USB 3.0/2.0 ports
Bluetooth connectivity
WIN 7 HB
So compatability won't be an issue.

One more thing... The currency is in Indian Rs
So 3K ~ 53 USD and 4K ~ 70 USD

I agree
But like for a racing game I doubt how many goes for a G27 as starter
They get something less complex and lower budget
And I'm going no gaming world cup Wink
So I thought I might get some personal opinions about these that will guide
After all who wants to spend money after a thing(I mean product) good for nothing
And every opinion and reply is highly appreciated Happy

"good for nothing"

All the Thrustmaster stuff I've seen over the years worked so I doubt the good for nothing comment. However gamers can be a picky lot so if the top hat didn't fire when they thought it should, the one mis-fire could have them calling it trash.

Sorry but that's a nice setup. In my opinion.

Oh no...
What I meant was that I'm seeking expert advice so that I don't end up with some "good for nothing" product...
I didn't specify any...
Sorry for the late reply and I hoped some specific suggestions from this forum...
But it seems either there is too less flight game enthusiast here or may be my budget is out of the league... Sad
Anyways... Thanx again for replying..... Happy
