Question

Need help with bluetooth

by Gil_LikeFish / February 13, 2013 10:29 AM PST

I want to use my JBL Flip with my laptop, but my laptop doesn't have bluetooth. If I buy a bluetooth adapter and plug it in my laptop, will my laptop be able to connect with my JBL Flip speaker (which is a wireless bluetooth traveling speaker)? **Will my JBL Flip play music from my laptop if the bluetooth adapter is connected to my laptop?**

Answer
Should be fine.

Yes it should work, just check the Bluetooth versions for compatibility. I have this Bluetooth adapter and use it with an Acoustic Research Bluetooth speaker and it works great. Although my adapter is Bluetooth 2.0, I recommend getting a 4.0 adapter that's backward compatible with earlier versions. Should be about the same price.
