Question

Need assistance with AllShare services stopping regulary.

by larbakium / January 31, 2013 6:13 PM PST

Hello,
I am finding problems with Allshare software on my computer. This problems is not related with a TV. But with the software running on my OS.

After installing the Allshare software it will run for a while and then automatically the computer will stop the services. If I restart the services it will run for couple of second and than stop.
I have checked the firewall configuration and the application is ALLOWED on both outbound and inbound traffic.

I agree it could be something else avoiding the services to run, but because I am not familiar with the application I do not know what could it be.

I also tried re install. same behavior.

On the event logs. When I restart the services I can see the following error.

That's noted by Microsoft with a HotFix that is only offered if you report the failure.

Do you know what they mean when write "first corrected"? That is, they may correct it more than once.
And it may happen on other than XP.
