Need a basic, slim, small, PDA.... Any suggestions?

by CelticDaddio / April 16, 2007 12:41 AM PDT

I currently use a Treo650, but I am going back to using a separate cell phone and PDA. All I need the PDA for, really, is basic PIM apps: calendar, contacts, to do lists etc. I am looking for something very small/thin, that I can stick in my pocket and go. Preferrably with color screen with good resolution to make reading easier on my aging eyes. Maybe like the old Palm Tungsten with the slider... Any recommendations (in addition than the aforemention Tungsten)? How is the Palm TX? I am not opposed to Windows Mobile, but prefer PalmOS a little more. Some years ago I had a Handspring Visor Platinum.... Wasn't terribly sleek, but the battery life was amazing.... I liked that about the Visor.

I have the TX so..

It's very nice. However with color screens we went from weeks on battery to a week. If I don't use the TX it's charge however lasts a few months (we have many so I was able to test this.)

The E2 isn't as sexy slim but it's battery time is very good but I really like the TX since I can do wifi on it.

The Tungsten T2 has that slider and you can get it for $155 at Check it out I just bought a Sony Clie from there they have a ton of PDAs to choose from Palm OS or WM
