Question

mysterious wifi keyboard undetectable

by brandineexner / November 19, 2012 8:01 PM PST

I have a Logitech Cordless Desktop EX110 keyboard.

I've tried everything I can think of. I tried using the XP detect hardware wizard, but it doesn't show up. I am pretty sure I have the thing on, although it is hard to tell. The batteries are new. I know it will need drivers but I could not find any ones available for manual dnld.

Does anyone have any helpful troubleshooting tips?

Thanks!

B

And the receiver had failed. Nothing I did brought it back so I got another one.

Try it on another PC to figure this out.

Hi,
Thanks so much for your response.
So if the keyboard won't work on any computer, is there anything else I can check? I hope that the receiver is not faulty.

Thanks

See if Logitech has a pairing software to re-unite the receiver and keyboard.

And of course, fresh batteries. Another set than what you have. I've had dead ones fresh out of the package and am a bit lucky to own a Volt Meter.

And you have paired the mouse and keyboard to the receiver via the button on the bottom of the keyboard and likewise the mouse? If you have, then chances are the receiver is bad, quite rare with Logitech products they are normally very reliable unless of course dropped or dmaged in some way.
