Question

My Samsung BD-P1600 is stuck at LOAD and CLOSE.

by Emillio007 / April 28, 2013 3:50 AM PDT

Please help! I have no experience in this section, but i did try to google it anyway. I tried to install Firmware from CD, but as the title says, it can't even load it. And only the POWER and OPEN/CLOSE button on my remote works. I don't know what to do next.

Hi HD Tech, i tried to do the reset trick, but it doesn't seem to have any effect at all, it just beeps and keep "load."
I will try to check out the service forums, but before i want to ask, is it possible to somehow view the firmware source on the machine? Im a Java programmer so hopefully it would be possible for me to change the firmware code manually.

Anyway thanks for the answers! Happy

Hi Emillio007,

I understand why that would be interesting for you, but unfortunately, I can't say anything about that. Very sorry!

Regards,
HD Tech
